Summer Matthews creates stunning kiln fired hand painted glass that is functional as well as beautiful, using traditional patterns and especially the waterhole for Tali Gallery – with Large Round Platters, Large and Medium Sushi Platters and Coasters in various colours.
Summer was born in 1980 and comes from Menindee in Western NSW. Â Her Languages are Barkindji/Ngyiampaa.
Summer exhibits annually in the Netherlands and Chicago and is included in the Holmes a Court Collection. Â The Australian Government has presented a piece of Summer’s Glass to the New Zealand Government as a gift. Â She has also held solo exhibitions in various galleries throughout Australia and the world.
