Tali Gallery is proud to be working with Rotary Strathfield on a Rotary fundraising project to showcase Aboriginal and Indigenous Art and Culture to the 25,000 registered delegates at the International Rotarians’ Corroboree conference to be held in Sydney from 31st May to 4th June. Â The social enterprise nature of Tali Gallery is a perfect fit with a philanthropic organisation such as Rotary which is dedicated to showing compassion and care for communities across the world.
Di has already made presentations about Aboriginal Art to two Sydney based Rotary Clubs and converted many members into Aboriginal Art fans! Â While the art is well known, the stories behind the movement as “The Last Great Art Movement of the 20th Century and the First Great Art Movement of the 21st Century” are not widely known.
At the conference, Tali Gallery will be presenting art from communities across Australia and there will be didgeridoo players and sales as well as paintings being created and for sale from NSW Kamilaroi Artist, Rex Winston Walford. Â Much of the giftware from our online Gallery Shop will also be available for sale.
