Di is looking forward to participating in this panel about buying Aboriginal Art examining ethics, authenticity, avenues of purchase and more.  Tali Gallery represents some 25 Aboriginal Owned Community Art Centres at any one time. These art centres send their best quality artworks on consignment to a select number of  representative galleries in cities around Australia, in trust, to promote and sell on their behalf.  Apart from supporting Indigenous Artists from remote community art centres, Tali G also works with a small number of young, city based,  Indigenous artists categorised as ‘urban’.  The gallery is committed to improving the lives of  Indigenous people in Australia and to connecting communities, and works on various programs out of the gallery relating to Indigenous scholarships and bursaries, as well as numerous educational, literacy and cultural programs.  http://www.artmonthsydney.com.au/collect/buying-aboriginal-art/
