Tali Gallery carefully sources artworks and crafts from all over Australia, looking for integrity and quality. Everything is hand selected and special in some way. Everything has a story. The Gallery is relaxed, friendly and welcoming. We offer small affordable gift items from as little as $3.50. We also sell small paintings priced from $66 unstretched and $135 stretched, right through to highly collectible artworks priced in the thousands with the cost determined in consultation with the Indigenous artists themselves or their community owned and governed art centres. The pricing of an artwork is related to the artists’ inclusion in solo and group exhibitions, public institutions and private collections in Australia and Internationally as well as consideration being given to awards. Paintings are sold either ready to hang on the wall (stretched canvases or framed) or rolled for transportation.
The items on this video are from the ground floor of Tali Gallery, while the upstairs comprises spaces hung with colourful acrylic paintings, comprehensive stockrooms, and an ochre room which is hung with barks and Kimberley and Tiwi paintings as well as displaying pandanus woven mats, fish traps, spirit figures, baskets and dilly bags from Arnhemland.
Tali Gallery is very community spirited and also highly service oriented, evidenced by the numerous awards we have won over the past three years we have been operating in Rozelle. Click on the About Us button on this website to find out more after you’ve watched this short video.
