Yawk Yawks from Anniebell Marrngamarrnga
Included in our new Fibre collection are several small but exquisitely coloured and patterned yawk yawks by Annibell Marrngamarrnga whose work has been displayed in the Lovelace exhbition at the Powerhouse Museum among 600 international artists and purchased into their collection.
Baskets from Maningrida
Striking and beautifully woven baskets in the most magnificant hot pink and yellow natural dyes have arrived in from Maningrida! Â Â Pandanus is extremely durable and there is an enormous amount of work involved in creating these beautiful baskets, even before the weaving begins, collecting the dyes and pandanus and preparing them.
